    Objectives:  After this session, participants will:

    • ·       Have a basic knowledge about the Texas Dept. of Insurance Fraud Unit
    • ·       Identify the types of fraud that DWC investigates
    • ·       Have knowledge on the reporting procedures for fraud
    • ·       Know how DWC fraud works with other organizations to combat fraud
    •      Know what action can be taken to prevent fraud

    Bio:  

    Nathan Sartorius serves as the Senior Fraud Investigator and Team Lead with the Texas Department of Insurance-Division of Workers' Compensation, Fraud Unit for the last eight years. Before joining the Division of Workers' Compensation, he dedicated more than 20 years of service to our country as a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army, retiring in 2017. During his military career, Nathan held a variety of leadership and specialized roles, including Protective Services, Drug Suppression Investigator, and Senior Military Police Advisor. He is originally from west central Illinois. He enjoys traveling and spending time with family.


    Registration fee is per person attending the meeting.  It includes 1 CPE credit and lunch. 

    Cancellation Policy and No Shows:  Cancellations will not be eligible for a refund; however, substitutions will be accepted. In the event an attendee does not attend the event, the registration fee will be forfeited.

    The Chapter reserves the right to bar for future registration any attendees who routinely register and fail to pay and/or attend the event.
