A CPE event benefiting the ACFE Foundation
CPE: 2 April 22, 2021 | 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. CT (virtual environment will be accessible at 9:30 a.m. CT) The risk of a cyberattack by fraudsters is now part of everyday life. Such attacks generate almost daily headlines and defraud organizations of billions every year. A victim’s response, within the first 24-48 hours, usually makes all the difference to prospects of recovering lost funds, data and other property, as well as successfully managing the reputational and other risks which come with the territory. Fortune favors the prepared - how would you respond if your organization fell victim tomorrow? This war-gaming event provides a valuable opportunity to be part of a virtual team placed in the middle of a simulated cyberfraud. You will be involved in decision-making from first indication of an attack through to successful resolution. This is an opportunity to learn from anti-fraud professionals from the ACFE, the law firm of Mishcon de Reya, LLP who specialize in dealing with this type of fraud, and other ACFE members’ experiences as well as sharing your own. If you’d like to register multiple attendees, please adjust the quantity to accommodate each attendee and provide the names and email address of each attendee to ACFE’s Chapter Development Manager, Joey Broccolo at JBroccolo@ACFE.com. After you register, you will be given the link to our virtual platform Remo with information on how to save your spot at the event. On the day of the event, the virtual room will be open at 9:30 a.m. CT. We encourage you to arrive early to familiarize yourself with the platform and ensure your microphone and webcam are working properly.
